Contract Details

- Conversion: Possible contract-to-hire

About the Opportunity
This role focuses on building and improving CI/CD pipelines, automating and operating cloud infrastructure, and driving reliability, scalability, and observability for production applications. You will embed security best practices into deployments and support database operations to ensure resilient, secure, and performant systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and provision cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, reliable environments.
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
  • Manage containerized environments with Docker; introduce/operate Kubernetes as scale requires.
  • Embed security by design (IAM, encryption, network segmentation) in all deployments.
  • Implement monitoring and observability to ensure system health and reliability.
  • Support database operations, including scaling, backups, and recovery (e.g., MS-SQL).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of hands-on cloud experience in production environments (AWS preferred).
  • Deep experience with Docker and containerization workflows; Kubernetes knowledge.
  • Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Argo CD, Jenkins, GitLab Runner).
  • Strong scripting in Bash and/or Python.
  • Experience supporting MS-SQL or similar databases.
  • Solid understanding of security fundamentals and access management (IAM, encryption, network segmentation).
  • Work Authorization: US Citizen only; no dual citizenship.
