• Provide individualized counseling sessions to clients through video conferencing to help them improve their mental health.
• Encourage clients to openly discuss their emotions and experiences, facilitating deep self-insight and healthier relationships.
• Act as a client advocate, guiding them in defining personal goals and pathways to achieve them.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and develop thorough treatment plans with a solution-focused approach informed by your clinical expertise.

The clients you will serve at TeamHealth are pre-screened individuals who exhibit stable mental health with low acuity needs. This focus allows you to work within a supportive framework, addressing concerns and fostering personal growth without the immediate crisis typically seen in higher acuity situations.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent mental health license issued by the state board, such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• The ability to make thoughtful evaluations and informed recommendations for treatment planning and implementation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills complemented by a sympathetic and empathetic nature.
• Strong computer skills for effective use of digital communication tools and electronic record-keeping.

While the position is open to newly licensed professionals, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in providing telehealth services, a deep understanding of diverse client backgrounds, and experience utilizing digital platforms for client management. Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques and prior work with low-acuity clients will be advantageous.
