As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily activities will include:

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Regularly assessing clients to determine their treatment requirements and progress.
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized recovery-oriented treatment plans.
• Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans based on continuous assessment.
• Guiding clients in building vital coping, problem-solving, and communication skills through various therapeutic modalities.
• Educating clients about available community resources while advocating for their access to these essential services.

Your primary focus will be on individuals aged 18 and older experiencing challenges related to mental health issues. You will support clients in maintaining stability in their community, enhancing independence, and improving their overall quality of life. Your work will be instrumental in helping clients confront their challenges and achieve their personal goals.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice in Colorado as one of the following:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
• The ability to practice independently without supervision.
• A clean disciplinary record concerning your professional license.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with digital health platforms and telehealth services.
• A reliable internet connection to facilitate remote sessions.

Successful candidates will also have:

• Previous experience delivering clinical services in a mental health or counseling setting.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an ability to empathize and build rapport with clients.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in the mental health field.
