Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual mental health counseling sessions through a secure video platform.
• Employing solution-focused treatment modalities to address the unique needs of each client, ensuring they receive personalized care.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and mental health needs.
• Helping clients gain insights into their experiences and fostering productive discussions around their feelings and relationships.
• Monitoring client progress over the course of treatment and assisting in the development of effective coping strategies to improve their overall quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily provide assessment and therapeutic services to stable, low acuity adults dealing with various mental health challenges. Our client base includes individuals seeking support with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other common concerns. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients develop necessary skills for better mental well-being and facilitate their journey toward healing.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• A current and valid state-issued mental health counseling license, allowing independent practice without any need for supervision.
• Licensure credentials, including Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses, and a clean disciplinary record.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach toward client care.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate communication and counseling software effectively.
• A computer with webcam and audio capabilities for conducting video sessions, along with a reliable internet connection.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling is preferred, highlighting a strong foundation in working with diverse populations and various mental health issues. Additionally, experience with remote counseling platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems will be viewed favorably.

• Attractive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000 per year, contingent on working hours and qualifications.
