Job DetailsJob Location: Allied Benefit Systems - CHICAGO, IL 60606Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 SalaryJob Category: Product Management  POSITION SUMMARY The Product Manager, Provider Networks will be the point person for our new and existing relationships with provider network partners.  The role will involve helping to manage these relationships, creating and maintaining product documentation, and facilitating the resolution of complex issues by working cross-functionally with other areas. As the Product Manager, you will be a Subject Matter Expert on our provider networks and develop an understanding of their strengths, nuances, the market, and their competitors.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS \tServe as the go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) on network partnerships including rules of engagement, guidelines, and competitive advantages. \tProvide insight and guidance to internal teams and in support of our sales and renewal processes.

\tCreate, update, and maintain product documentation related to our network partnerships. \tTrack and analyze performance metrics to ensure networks are functioning as intended and collaborate cross-functionally to recommend and/or implement improvements to processes. \tProvide training and support for to sales, account management, and other internal teams.

\tDevelop rapport and maintain relationships with network partners including management of escalated issues. \tCoordinate with marketing on strategy, product positioning, and creation of product collateral. \tCollaborate and develop relationships with internal teams including operations, sales, account management, marketing, and others.

\tManage escalated issues that require product expertise in coordination with other teams such as claims, operations, finance, and others. \tHelp assess new opportunities and partnerships, as needed. \tSupport product management team with initiatives and special projects, as needed.

  EDUCATION \tBachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience required.   EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS \tAt least 5 years of relevant experience in product management or similar role. \tPrior experience with provider networks or in the health insurance industry required.

\tStrong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. \tExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \tExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

\tAbility to prioritize multiple initiatives. \tAbility to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects. \tProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
