• Conduct individual counseling sessions ethically and compassionately using video conferencing tools, making mental health support accessible from any location.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic modalities to tailor effective treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each client, promoting individual progress.
• Assess client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure they are on the path to achieving improved mental health.
• Create an inviting virtual environment that encourages clients to share their thoughts and feelings openly, fostering therapeutic relationships.
• Document client interactions and treatment plans thoroughly in our all-in-one counselor portal, which simplifies record-keeping and paperwork requirements.

The ideal candidate will work with stable, low-acuity adult clients presenting a variety of mental health needs. Your role will involve empowering individuals to develop essential coping skills and insights into their emotional experiences, thus significantly improving their quality of life. The goal is to provide not just treatment, but a pathway to self-discovery and self-sufficiency.

• A master’s degree in a counseling-related field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license authorizing independent practice is essential. Licenses we recognize include:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• No limited/provisional licenses and no prior disciplinary actions are accepted.
• Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and a sympathetic disposition toward clients.
• Strong computer literacy, including a reliable internet connection and a computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities for conducting video sessions.

Previous experience in providing mental health counseling in a remote setting is beneficial but not mandatory. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will be advantageous. Experience in solution-focused therapy techniques or similar evidence-based practices is preferred.
