Computer Software Integration Analyst 
Security Requirement: T3 (Secret) Background Investigation
Location: Position is off-site but must live within 100 miles of New Cumberland, PA
Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Computer Software Integration Analyst
to provide lifecycle support to DLA’s Employee Activity Guide for Labor Entry (EAGLE) DBS acquisition, development, sustainment, maintenance, and technical support.
The Computer Software Integration Analyst is responsible for ensuring the continuous, efficient, and secure operation of DLA’s Employee Activity Guide for Labor Entry (EAGLE) DBS. This role focuses on delivering measurable improvements in software lifecycle management, from acquisition through sustainment, while meeting strict government specifications and timelines. The successful candidate will drive performance by delivering fixes, enhancements, and integrations that directly improve system reliability, user satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Objectives:
  • Timely Issue Resolution: Implement authorized fixes and resolve application incidents within predetermined Government timeframes to maintain 99% system uptime.
  • Quality Integration & Development: Design, code, test, and integrate system enhancements with zero critical defects, ensuring that each update meets or exceeds performance and traceability standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Achieve measurable improvements in system performance by reducing incident recurrence by at least 20% through proactive analysis and continuous process improvement.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Deliver and maintain comprehensive Functional Requirements documentation with 100% traceability and compliance to Government specifications and change control processes.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Software Lifecycle Management 
  • Implement authorized fixes and updates according to established timelines.
  • Design, code, test, and integrate new requirements and enhancements for EAGLE and related applications.
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps for source code versioning and ensure that all code changes meet performance and security standards.
Performance Analysis & Problem Resolution 
  • Analyze operational issues, system processes, and data interfaces to identify root causes.
  • Develop and deploy corrective actions that minimize downtime and improve system performance.
  • Monitor system performance indicators and produce regular reports to track improvements and identify trends.
Documentation & Compliance 
  • Develop, update, and maintain Functional Requirements documentation that meets Government traceability standards.
  • Adhere strictly to Government policies, change control processes, and security regulations during all phases of software development and support.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed with high quality and within specified timelines.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement 
  • Work cross-functionally with IT support infrastructure teams to implement process improvements.
  • Engage with end users and stakeholders to gather feedback and refine system functionalities.
  • Provided subject matter expertise on configuration management, data administration, and IT support best practices.

Required Competencies & Skills:
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of system integration, configuration management, and lifecycle support; strong familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex system processes and interfaces to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to coding, testing, and documenting changes to meet stringent Government standards.
  • Communication: Clear and concise technical writing skills to produce functional documentation and effective status reports.
  • Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience with software integration and lifecycle support, preferably within a government or regulated environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).
  • Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a T3 (Secret) background investigation clearance.
