Job description

Overview
Apogee has an opportunity for a C2 Ops/Cyber Security SME specializing in Command & Control (C2) Operations and Cyber Security to provide contractor site reachback support for the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO). These positions support EZA and AF CROWS with threat analysis, cyber resiliency development, and navigation systems support.
These are full-time remote positions with occasional travel to government sites
Responsibilities
EZA/CROWS Support:
  • Support identification of disconnects in USAF Assured PNT processes
  • Assist in the development of courses of action for PNT resiliency
  • Support analysis and integration activities across GPS modernization programs
  • Participate in strategic planning activities

Threat Analysis:
  • Research and conduct data gathering on current and evolving threat capabilities
  • Analyze threats that could degrade or deny PNT capabilities
  • Support threat evaluation and impact assessment
  • Assist in countermeasure development

Navigation Systems Support:
  • Review and support GPS-based navigation databases
  • Participate in data chain process evaluation
  • Support systems engineering activities for PNT systems
  • Assist in navigation database integrity monitoring

Cyber Resiliency:
  • Support the development of cyber resiliency solutions for fielded systems
  • Participate in vulnerability assessments
  • Assist in material and non-material solution development
  • Support testing and evaluation of cyber countermeasures

Documentation Support:
  • Assist in preparation of technical reports and briefings
  • Support roadmap development activities
  • Prepare analysis documentation
  • Contribute to strategic planning documents

Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Years of Experience: 15 years of C2 operations and cybersecurity experience
Additional experience:
  • Strong knowledge of Assured PNT and cyber resiliency
  • Experience with DoD C2 systems and cybersecurity
  • Understanding of navigation warfare and GPS threats
  • \Knowledge of navigation databases and data chain processes
  • Experience with tactical data links preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:
Education: Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldYears of Experience: 12 years of C2 operations and cybersecurity experience
