Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Onsite preferred; remote considered for highly qualified candidates

Required:
โ€ข Experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or related roles (3โ€“5+ years)
โ€ข Experience with Python
โ€ข Experience building and shipping production software systems
โ€ข Full-stack development experience (frontend and backend)
โ€ข Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern cloud architectures
โ€ข DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment automation
โ€ข Experience designing and consuming APIs following industry best practices
โ€ข Experience with source control and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub)
โ€ข Experience with GenAI
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited program
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience building LLM-powered applications

โ€ข Experience with the energy sector, utilities, or industrial systems
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design and deliver generative AI applications that address real operational and business challenges, from concept through production
โ€ข Translate business requirements into GenAI system architectures, selecting appropriate models, tools, and integration patterns
โ€ข Build and maintain full-stack applications, including LLM-powered tools, internal platforms, and APIs
โ€ข Implement LLM integrations using approaches such as RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, and API-based workflows
โ€ข Balance rapid experimentation with enterprise-grade reliability, security, and governance
โ€ข Apply DevOps best practices to support CI/CD, monitoring, and scalable cloud deployments
