Wellness Psychotherapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time capacity. This remote position allows you to provide essential mental health support to a diverse range of clients from the comfort of your own home. Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while maintaining a high standard of care. As part of our virtual team, you will utilize modern technology and secure electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain client records and facilitate remote therapy sessions efficiently. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will ensure that you receive ongoing support, regardless of your physical location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients, evaluating their mental health status and identifying presenting issues such as substance abuse, depression, and anxiety.
  • Create personalized treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapies and align with clients’ goals and values.
  • Facilitate regular individual therapy sessions, providing clients with coping strategies and resources tailored to their unique situations.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and the sharing of experiences among individuals facing similar challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any referrals to additional health care providers, such as psychiatrists.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional boundaries, ensuring confidentiality and respect for each client’s privacy.
  • Engage in continuing education and training to stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques and mental health trends.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include a diverse population facing various mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse issues. Your ability to build rapport and foster trust will be essential in helping clients navigate their emotional journeys and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • A current and valid state-issued license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW is essential for this position.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience is mandatory, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage challenging situations with a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which facilitate the establishment of therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing both individual and group therapy in a variety of settings.
  • Familiarity with culturally responsive therapy approaches that cater to diverse populations.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications pertinent to counseling and client management.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
