Position Overview

Therapeutic Horizon Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand patients' unique emotional and psychological experiences, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are tailored to the individual needs of each patient while considering their cultural and personal contexts.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address mental health challenges, foster resilience, and encourage personal growth among clients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care that meets the holistic needs of our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is essential for this position.
  • A strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatments, and cultural competence in therapy practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive and inclusive approaches.
  • Proficiency in crisis intervention, with the ability to remain composed during challenging situations.
