This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed - just deep mastery of physics and the ability to think rigorously about where AI reasoning breaks down.

- Craft PhD qualifying exam-level physics problems that demand multi-step logical reasoning, complex mathematical derivation, and first-principles thinking - Author Gold-Standard Solutions
- Write rigorous, step-by-step model answers where every constant, unit conversion, and logical step is precisely correct - Audit AI Reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated proofs and simulations for physical consistency, identifying where models "hallucinate" physics that violates fundamental laws - Refine Model Behavior
- Provide structured, expert feedback to improve AI reasoning around boundary conditions, conservation laws, and physics-informed constraints Who You Are - PhD completed or near-completion in Applied Physics, Physics, Engineering Physics, or a closely related field
- Deep mastery across the core pillars: Classical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, and Quantum Mechanics
- Exceptional ability to explain complex physical phenomena and mathematical derivations in clear, structured English
- Uncompromising attention to detail - units, scientific notation, and logical flow of proof matter to you
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI or machine learning experience required
- Experience with data annotation, scientific dataset evaluation, or quality assurance workflows
