In this pivotal position, you will harness your expertise to foster therapeutic relationships, facilitate healing, and provide evidence-based interventions that significantly impact the lives of our clients.

About the Organization

Chrysalis Health Counseling is a progressive mental health organization committed to delivering high-quality therapy and counseling services. Nestled in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, we pride ourselves on offering a supportive environment for both our clients and our team members. With a mission to transform lives through compassionate care and innovative approaches, we are dedicated to improving mental health outcomes across our community.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life while still engaging deeply with our clients. You will be part of a compassionate and collaborative team that values open communication and mutual support. Interactions with colleagues take place through various virtual meeting platforms, ensuring a cohesive workflow as you deliver care from afar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive counseling, psychotherapy, and treatment services to clients in need, focusing on their unique mental health challenges.
  • Conduct complete mental status examinations, systematically evaluating and recognizing changes in mental health that require intervention.
  • Document all client interactions meticulously, maintaining precise case notes, progress reports, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain a calm environment, helping patients navigate through high-stress situations with empathy and understanding.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and community resources, to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address clientsโ€™ needs holistically.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and individual sessions tailored to the specific requirements of clients, employing various therapeutic modalities as needed.
  • Share best practices and insights with colleagues to enhance the overall effectiveness and quality of care provided by the team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing acute and chronic psychiatric disorders, emotional distress, and behavioral issues. You will work with individuals seeking hope and recovery, as well as couples and families navigating complex relational dynamics. Your skills in empathy and relationship-building will be paramount in creating safe spaces for clients to explore their feelings and experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with an appropriate Nevada LCSW license that allows for independent practice.
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, with a strong foundation in mental health therapies and interventions.
  • High emotional intelligence with an innate ability to cultivate trust and rapport with clients, fostering an environment conducive to healing.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a varied caseload and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with organizational standards.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in hospice care settings is an asset, as you will interact with clients and families during challenging times of transition and emotional vulnerability.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client care efficiently and accurately.
  • Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a generous paid time-off policy, and opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
