The work setting is structured as a remote community health clinic, allowing flexibility and work-life balance for our employees. A full-time schedule, from Monday to Friday, supports a diligent yet manageable pace. You will engage with clients across various platforms, maintaining direct communication through video consultations, phone calls, and digital application systems to deliver therapy effectively.

• Conduct initial assessments to determine the mental health needs of senior clients, developing tailored intervention strategies based on their unique circumstances.
• Provide ongoing psychological counseling and psychotherapy sessions for adult and senior clients, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are adapted to constantly changing client needs.
• Research local and national resources to provide comprehensive support and guidance to clients, connecting them with necessary services that enhance their overall well-being.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans diligently in case management software, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and state regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings to collaborate on case management strategies and share insights on best practices for providing care in a remote setting.

In your role as an LCSW, you will primarily focus on serving senior clients who face diverse mental health challenges. Understanding the complexities of geriatric mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline, will be crucial in providing effective treatment tailored to meet their specific needs. Your efforts will play a vital role in improving their quality of life and facilitating their independence.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of California.
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, for reporting and documentation purposes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple patient cases simultaneously.
• Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously, maintaining high levels of professionalism and self-direction.

• Experience working with geriatric populations is highly preferred, although not mandatory.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems.
