Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients, assessing their needs and developing individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.
  • Create a flexible work schedule that suits your availability, with no minimum hour requirements, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, to support client progress.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development by obtaining Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits annually, with costs covered by the organization.
  • Collaborate with our Content Manager to produce insightful articles and resources, sharing your expertise with our broader community.
  • Lead optional support groups and workshops to foster a supportive community environment.
  • Access a steady stream of client referrals through our established network to build and expand your practice.
  • Enjoy minimal administrative work and billing responsibilities, as our dedicated team manages these tasks for you.
  • Engage with our Clinical Operations Team to ensure the highest standard of care is provided to all clients.
  • Participate in optional monthly peer group sessions for continued professional support and development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals actively seeking to alter their relationship with alcohol, ranging from those contemplating moderation to those pursuing full abstinence. You will work with a diverse group of clients who may come from various backgrounds and experiences, emphasizing the importance of culturally sensitive and personalized care. Your role will be central in guiding clients to utilize both our therapeutic services and external community support options, such as Alcoholics Anonymous or SMART Recovery, as appropriate.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license in the state of California.
  • At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience with a strong foundation in therapeutic methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • A thorough understanding of the harm-reduction model in treatment practices.
  • Exceptional clinical engagement skills, demonstrating empathy and support for clients throughout their recovery journey.

Compensation and Benefits
