• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, integrating psychosocial evaluations to tailor individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment strategies addressing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Collaborate actively with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to coordinate care and provide holistic solutions to clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including patient medical histories, treatment progress, and updates to treatment plans, all in compliance with regulatory policies.
• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies as needed, demonstrating a strong foundation in crisis management and trauma-informed care.
• Engage in community outreach to connect clients with appropriate resources and services, thereby enhancing the support network available to families.

Your role will involve serving a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges. This includes addressing issues related to trauma, domestic violence, substance abuse, and childhood mental health disorders. You will play a crucial role in providing culturally sensitive therapy while understanding the unique challenges faced by clients in Coos Bay and surrounding areas.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with team members.

• Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting, providing counseling to individuals with diverse backgrounds and varying psychological needs.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience in virtual counseling practices is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health challenges and effective treatment modalities.
