Mental Health Shield Psychological Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time role is crucial to our mission of providing quality mental health care to individuals and families in the Dallas, Texas area and beyond. As a licensed clinician, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously while contributing actively to improving the mental well-being of our diverse clientele.

Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing for great flexibility in your work schedule. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will have the freedom to manage your own caseload of clients. We provide a supportive and transparent team atmosphere, helping you feel connected and valued, despite the physical distance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate client mental health diagnoses and develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
  • Maintain a caseload of 25-30 therapy sessions per week, providing both individual and family therapy.
  • Document treatment plans, updates, and case notes according to organization policies, ensuring compliance with mental health documentation standards.
  • Utilize creative therapeutic interventions to empower clients to achieve their personal goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service, reinforcing the organizationโ€™s commitment to client satisfaction and growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, couples, and families dealing with various mental health challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of family dynamics and the ability to engage effectively with clients across different backgrounds. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
  • Must hold an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
