This position operates within a community health clinic model, providing vital mental health support through remote sessions. • Conduct initial assessments and thorough evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans that address each client’s specific mental health challenges.
• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, couples, and groups.
• Collaborate regularly with healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment strategy that promotes holistic client care.
• Maintain detailed, accurate clinical records compliant with ethical standards, legal regulations, and confidentiality protocols.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health by participating in workshops and professional development opportunities, ensuring informed practice.

As a member of our team, you will work with a diverse client base facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role is key in providing accessible, individualized support to help clients navigate their emotional struggles and facilitate personal growth.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical or community health setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal requirements governing counseling practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish strong rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma recovery, substance abuse treatment, or family and couples counseling will be considered an advantage.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems or similar documentation platforms is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams effectively.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year based on caseload and experience.
