Although you will typically work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, there may be occasional evening or weekend sessions to accommodate client needs. • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients, utilizing structured interview techniques and standardized assessment tools.
• Designing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual goals, continuously monitoring and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities to support clients in managing their mental health challenges.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals, to deliver comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being.
• Maintaining precise and confidential client records in accordance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring all documentation reflects accurate client progress and treatment updates.
• Participating in regular clinical supervision and case conferences, which promote professional development and enhance service delivery through shared knowledge and practices.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Hopeful Journey LLC, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges such as mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, and addiction. Your compassionate approach will be vital in creating a safe space for clients to explore their feelings, develop effective coping strategies, and foster resilience. • A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in both individual and group therapy within mental health settings, with a preference for candidates who have worked in community health or outpatient environments.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies relevant to mental health treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport quickly with a wide range of clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, critical for maintaining documentation and collaborating effectively within a team.
• Commitment to ethical practices and the safeguarding of client confidentiality at all times.

• Experience working with specific populations such as adolescents, veterans, or individuals with substance use disorders.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms to facilitate remote counseling sessions, emphasizing technological communication skills.
