• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments, utilizing validated testing tools and therapeutic interviews to evaluate each patient’s psychological state.
• Create tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, focusing on measurable outcomes and addressing each individual’s unique needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, integrating medical and psychological care to address all facets of a patient's condition.
• Engage in crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, utilizing skills and techniques to ensure patient safety and stability.
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources to promote understanding and effective coping strategies.
• Document all clinical interactions accurately and maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards for confidentiality and data protection.
• Participate in regular case conferences and team development meetings, sharing insights and strategies to improve the quality of care we provide.
• Stay informed of the latest research, policy changes, and advancements in mental health therapy practices, ensuring that our clinic remains a leader in the field.

The mental health counselor role specifically caters to a diverse patient population, consisting of individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds. You will engage with patients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, emphasizing a trauma-informed approach to treatment. Your ability to build rapport and trust with patients is essential in fostering their confidence and commitment to their treatment plans, ultimately leading to better health outcomes.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from a recognized institution is required.
• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is essential for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement therapy techniques and models, along with a solid understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for establishing effective working relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with telehealth platforms are advantageous for this role.

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred.
• A background in community health settings and experience working with diverse populations will be considered an asset.
• Specialty certifications in therapeutic modalities, such as CBT or DBT, will enhance your application.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
