The Mind Sync Behavioral Health Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a full-time basis. This pivotal role focuses on providing specialized mental health counseling, particularly in the realm of addiction therapy and geriatric mental health. The successful candidate will help shape care strategies that enhance the emotional well-being of our senior clients, all while working in a remote outpatient setting from Saint Petersburg, Florida.

This position is designed to be remote, providing you the flexibility to work effectively from your own space while still collaborating closely with our healthcare teams. The regular workweek is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured schedule conducive to both professional growth and personal balance. You'll have access to virtual tools and systems that facilitate remote communication and ensure a seamless workflow, including telehealth platforms designed for client interactions.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly residents, identifying their specific psychological and emotional needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that address common emotional challenges faced by seniors, such as grief, anxiety, and depression associated with life transitions.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to devise and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the unique needs of geriatric clients.
• Provide education and resources to families and staff on how to enhance the emotional well-being of elderly residents.
• Deliver targeted grief and loss counseling for individuals and families dealing with end-of-life issues and transitions.
• Implement cognitive stimulation programs and mental health interventions aimed at promoting mental acuity and emotional resilience in elderly clients.

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
