• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients at the detox center, carefully evaluating personal histories and current concerns related to substance use.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on recovery goals, emotional well-being, and long-term success.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, tailored specifically for individuals undergoing detoxification.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapies aimed at developing coping strategies, enhancing emotional regulation, and building resilience during recovery.
• Coordinate with a range of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to provide integrated care and a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
• Respond to crisis situations with urgency and care, deploying de-escalation techniques and coordinating referrals for higher levels of care when necessary.
• Engage in psychoeducational outreach to clients and their families, facilitating understanding of mental health challenges and treatment processes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions to enhance collaborative practices and stay updated on best practices and relevant guidelines in the mental health field.

This position specifically targets individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders at the detox center. You will work closely with clients experiencing a range of mental health issues related to addiction, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Providing a safe and supportive environment, your role will empower clients to actively engage in their recovery process.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally in addiction treatment or mental health settings.
• Strong understanding of substance use disorders and mental health treatment principles, with a focus on trauma-informed care.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy using diverse therapeutic approaches.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills, with a calm and composed demeanor in challenging situations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and a willingness to adopt new technologies as necessary.

• Prior experience in a detox or inpatient treatment facility is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based practices specifically aimed at treating substance use disorders.
• A track record of success in creating collaborative and supportive treatment environments.

The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
