As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Banner Mental Healthcare, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring a safe and supportive space for clients to share their thoughts and feelings.
• Utilizing solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to each client's unique needs, fostering an environment conducive to personal growth and recovery.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that address specific client concerns and circumstances, taking into account their histories, preferences, and strengths.
• Facilitating client insight into their experiences, emotions, and relationships, promoting self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
• Monitoring client progress against established treatment goals, adjusting methodologies as necessary, and equipping clients with effective coping strategies.

Your role will involve working with a diverse population, ranging from youth to adults, facing various mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
