Select Business Account Manager
Patriot Growth Insurance Services | Dallas, TX | Hybrid | Full-Time
Why This Role Matters
As a Select Business Account Manager, you'll serve as a trusted resource for commercial insurance clients, helping them navigate coverage decisions, policy changes, renewals, and day-to-day service needs. Your work directly supports client retention, strengthens carrier and producer relationships, and ensures clients receive responsive, accurate, and professional service throughout the policy lifecycle.
In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of select business accounts while partnering closely with Producers, carriers, and internal colleagues. You'll play an important part in delivering a seamless client experience, supporting new business growth, and helping clients protect what matters most to their organizations.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and provide timely, accurate, and professional client service.
  • Support new business opportunities by gathering underwriting information, preparing applications, obtaining quotes, and coordinating submissions.
  • Guide clients through policy renewals and remarketing strategies to help secure appropriate coverage and competitive carrier placement.
  • Educate clients on coverages, exclusions, exposures, and policy details so they can make informed insurance decisions.
  • Coordinate policy transactions including endorsements, cancellations, certificates of insurance, policy delivery, and related service requests.
  • Partner with Producers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve client concerns, support retention efforts, and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in account management, customer service, insurance service, or another client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lines insurance products, coverages, carrier requirements, underwriting principles, and policy servicing practices.
  • Experience managing client relationships and responding to client needs with professionalism and urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Agency Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, carrier platforms, comparative rating tools, and related insurance technology.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, Producers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working specifically within Commercial Lines account management.
