• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Develop personalized treatment and intervention plans that align with clients’ goals and mental health needs.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques that encourage growth and healing.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes adhering to compliance standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and community resources, to optimize treatment for clients, especially those requiring complex care.
• Implement follow-up strategies to monitor client health, adapting treatments as necessary and ensuring continuity of care.
• Support families and primary caregivers with strategies for managing mental health challenges effectively.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Grey Remedies, you will serve a broad spectrum of clients facing varied mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Your empathetic approach and professional expertise will help foster a secure space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings, facilitating their journey towards mental wellness.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure in the state of Florida as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is mandatory.
• A background that includes substantial direct experience as a mental health counselor is essential.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to ensure accurate data entry and management.
• Experience with substance use disorders and an understanding of their impact on mental health.
• Familiarity with best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical for effective client interactions.
