Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, offering counselors the flexibility to work from the comfort of their own home. You are able to create a schedule that aligns with your lifestyle while fulfilling the requirements of at least 30 hours per week. Our telehealth platform allows you to connect with your clients via video chat, making it easier to accommodate their needs and preferences. Minimal administrative tasks ensure that your focus remains on client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions through video chat, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with them.
• Implement evidence-based practices to help clients cultivate effective coping strategies, enhance problem-solving abilities, and improve communication skills.
• Engage in regular follow-up and progress evaluation to adapt treatment plans as necessary, fostering a supportive and responsive therapeutic relationship.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with low-acuity adult clients who require ongoing support to manage stable mental health conditions. Our center aims to create a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere where clients feel safe to express themselves and tackle life challenges. Achieving positive client outcomes is foundational to our work, and you will be instrumental in guiding them through their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is a requirement for this position.
• Must hold a current state license in either LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Demonstrated ability to practice independently without supervision, reflecting a strong commitment to ethical counseling standards.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in using computers and virtual counseling platforms.
• A reliable and stable Wi-Fi connection to ensure consistent service delivery.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is a Master’s degree, we prefer candidates with extensive experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly those who have successfully worked with adult populations. Candidates with additional certifications in trauma-informed care or cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) will stand out during the selection process.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on hours worked and experience. Additional perks include:
