Our Boston based branding, advertising, and digital agency client is looking to bring on a remote, part time, Graphic Designer / Production Designer:
Graphic Designer / Production Designer
Mid-Level 5-8+ years experience
Start = ASAP
Duration through end of September with possible extension
This is a remote, part time role, an average of 10 hours of work per week. (details below)

This production oriented designer takes creative direction and turns it into polished, on-brand work quickly and accurately. They should be someone the creative team can hand a concept or direction to and trust them to carry it through to a strong final product, with good design judgment along the way.
What are they being asked to do in terms of deliverables?
a. Digital and social media assets
b. Paid media and campaign assets
c. Print collateral: brochures, postcards, one-sheets, signage, etc.
d. Event and environmental graphics
e. Brand guidelines and templates
f. Adapt and resize existing creative across multiple channels and formats
g. Production of final files for print and digital
h. Potentially light motion/video or presentation animation i. Client presentations and pitch deck design
Typical tasks include:
High-volume production and adaptation. Resizing campaigns, updating copy/images, building multiple versions of an asset, formatting decks, preparing print-ready files, and making last-minute client changes without sacrificing quality.
Must-haves. Non-negotiables:
a. Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, hierarchy, composition and color
b. Excellent attention to detail
c. Ability to follow and maintain brand standards
d. Strong production/file-prep knowledge for both print and digital
e. Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects/deadlines
f. Comfortable taking direction and incorporating feedback
g. Able to work independently but collaborate closely with art directors, copywriters and account teams
h. Organized and reliable
i. Portfolio demonstrating real-world marketing/brand work, not just conceptual design
Tools they need to be fluent in.
a. Non-negotiable:
i. Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
ii. PowerPoint / Google Slides
b. Nice to have:
i. Figma
ii. After Effects / basic motion
iii. Premiere Pro or other basic video editing
iv. Canva
v. AI creative tools / generative design tools
What availability do we need?
Hours per week, whether they need to be reachable during our business day for calls and reviews, how much notice we can realistically give them, and how long we'd book them for.
a. Average 10 hours a week, with availability for meetings/calls during a portion of business hours for at least 2 weekdays. Some projects may need a turnaround in 24 hours, others may be 3-4 days. Ideally they could come into the office for one half day (Tuesday or Wednesday), or at least be able to have the flexibility to do that for larger project kick offs or team reviews.
