  • Oversee product qualification processes and supply chain coordination.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in supply chain management and project engineering, particularly in defense or pyrotechnic systems.

Why Join Us?

At Albelissa, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within the defense sector, contributing to systems that ensure safety and effectiveness in critical applications. We value innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

The role requires U.S. citizenship for security clearance because it involves sensitive defense programs. The position also includes managing co-design practices for developing aerospace products and ensuring collaboration with engineering and supplier teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and facilitate discussions on pyrotechnic systems, system requirements, avionic, and architectural alignment.

• Contribute to co-design practices for the development and qualification of aerospace components.

• Manage the information flow across stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting and progress tracking.

• Review and validate technical and functional requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual and system specifications.

• Oversee testing, qualification, and production activities to verify adherence to specifications and quality standards.

• Identify and manage non-conformances, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with ITAR / Export Control regulations and documentation procedures.

• Represent Albelissa’s technical and managerial interests on-site at the client and supplier facilities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent STEM discipline.

• Proven experience in supplier management, scheduling, progress tracking, and risk management in procurement and development phases.

• Strong understanding of system requirements management and system architecture analysis.

• Experience with testing, verification, and qualification activities (a plus).

• Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and standards.

• Familiarity with ITAR and Export Control regulations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

• Fluent in English (C1 level or above).

• U.S. citizenship is required and non-negotiable due to security clearance requirements for defense projects.

Role Characteristics

• Cross-functional role bridging System Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality domains.

• Project-based assignment at one of Albelissa’s American defense suppliers.

• Hybrid work arrangement with regular on-site presence at the supplier’s facility in Simsbury (Connecticut) one to two days per week, and remote work for the remaining days.

• On-site presence is required to support coordination, reviews, and hands-on activities related to qualification and testing phases.

• Occasional travel may be required to other client sites.

• High degree of autonomy and results orientation, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to operate effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams.

Location
