Work Environment

This role is designed to be remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while connecting with clients from the comfort of your own workspace. Although remote, you will work closely with a cohort of mental health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, fostering a collaborative spirit and integrated care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services to clients seeking outpatient care, utilizing telehealth technologies to conduct sessions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' relational dynamics and mental health requirements, leading to personalized treatment plans that outline clear and achievable goals.
• Implement family systems theory and systemic interventions effectively to address relationship dynamics, enhancing communication, and alleviating family stressors.
• Offer immediate support and crisis intervention services as necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and their families.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Educate clients on effective communication methods, conflict resolution tactics, and coping strategies to bolster their relational and emotional recovery journeys.
• Collaborate with other mental health practitioners to develop and execute a comprehensive and integrated care approach for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with emerging research and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse clientele ranging from adults to children and adolescents. We look to support families dealing with various challenges including but not limited to relationship conflict, communication breakdowns, and trauma. Your efforts will contribute directly to healing and improvement in not just individual mental health but in familial structures and relationships.

Qualifications

• A current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Tennessee.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• A minimum of three years of experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in outpatient therapy environments.
• Diverse experience with both adult and child/adolescent populations is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate effective therapist-client relationships.
• A commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient therapy services is preferred.
• Comfort with remote therapy tools and telehealth best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
