We are seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team at Mindful Momentum Recovery Facility. In this full-time role, you will provide counseling services utilizing evidence-based practices, helping clients achieve their mental health goals through personalized care and support.

Our approach integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques with a unique hybrid model that incorporates live video therapy sessions and self-guided video lessons for enhanced client engagement.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients across Sacramento, California, and beyond. Our Telehealth facility provides a modern, collaborative platform for mental health professionals, ensuring seamless access to a rich array of integrated treatment tools, including electronic medical records (EMR) and progress monitoring software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly live video counseling sessions with adult clients using evidence-based approaches to address a variety of mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary psychiatric teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that ensure continuity of care.
  • Utilize symptom self-assessments and progress monitoring tools to track client outcomes, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize growth.
  • Engage in regular consultation and receive clinical support from peers and supervisors during designated drop-in hours.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on adult populations, including individuals at increased risk of suicide and those experiencing diverse mental health challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will provide culturally responsive care to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring inclusivity and understanding in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) from an accredited institution.
