Job description

About Us

We are a super-premium coffee company based in the Pacific Northwest with a strong reputation for quality, hospitality, and long-term customer relationships. While our roots are in Seattle, our business serves clients throughout the United States, including hospitality groups, coffee bars, Hotels and Resorts.

We are seeking an experienced business development professional who thrives on creating strategic relationships and closing corporate supply agreements.

Position Overview

This is not a high-volume sales role. We are looking for a self-directed professional who can identify opportunities, develop executive-level relationships, and negotiate agreements with regional and national organizations.

The ideal candidate has experience selling into B2B environments such as hospitality, multi-unit operators, or other enterprise-level organizations.

This position is fully remote. Candidates do not need to reside in Seattle, although familiarity with the Pacific Northwest market is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a national business development strategy.
  • Identify and pursue large corporate and multi-location opportunities.
  • Build relationships with executives, ownership groups, procurement leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Negotiate and close long-term agreements and strategic partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as needed.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline and forecasting process.
  • Collaborate directly with company leadership on growth initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently generates qualified opportunities.
  • Closes high-value contracts and strategic partnerships.
  • Builds a strong national pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Creates long-term customer relationships that drive recurring revenue.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B business development sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success by closing large contracts and strategic accounts.
  • Experience selling to, hospitality groups, and coffee bar operators, government agencies and universities
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with executives, owners, and senior decision-makers.
  • Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Leadership Style & Reporting

This role reports directly to the owner and operates with a high degree of autonomy. We are looking for a mature professional who does not require day-to-day management. Success will be measured by relationships developed, opportunities created, and contracts closed—not activity metrics.

Expect direct access to leadership, a collaborative environment, and roughly one structured check-in per week.

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission and incentive opportunities tied to new business development and closed contracts.

We're looking for someone who wants more than just a sales job. We're looking for someone who wants to help build a national brand, create lasting partnerships, and bring exceptional coffee experiences to people across the United States. If the idea of putting a smile on someone's face tomorrow through great coffee and great relationships excites you, this may be the opportunity you've been looking for.
