Pathways Counseling & Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a remote position, which allows for flexibility in work arrangements while still maintaining a strong connection to our team and clients. • Provide direct clinical services to clients, both in the office and the community, focusing on those experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.

• Collaborate effectively as a team member to achieve shared goals, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and communication.

• Engage with clients respectfully, acknowledging and valuing diverse traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles in the therapeutic relationship.

• Maintain ethical standards and adhere to the professional codes of conduct, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

• Participate in ongoing skill improvement through both independent and team-based training and development initiatives.

• Identify and report unsafe situations, implementing safety procedures to maintain a secure environment for clients and staff.

• Conduct evidence-based assessments, including brief screenings and arranging for in-depth evaluation when necessary.

• Create and maintain integrated care plans for clients, ensuring they have access to all relevant support services.

• Deliver comprehensive prevention, treatment, and recovery services tailored to individual client needs.

• Provide support during crisis situations, utilizing effective intervention strategies.

• Manage a caseload that includes assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling.

• Monitor client progress and ensure adherence to treatment goals and objectives.

• Complete necessary documentation and reports in a timely manner, contributing to the overall data collection efforts.

• Provide on-call coverage during and after program hours as needed.

• Engage in committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the agency.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Pathways, you will primarily serve a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health challenges in underserved communities. Your expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of mental health disorders will be crucial in facilitating recovery and empowerment. Special attention will be given to creating culturally competent care plans that respect each client's unique background and needs.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Valid LCSW licensure in the state of California is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, showcasing your skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and documentation.

• Demonstrated ability to organize and plan effectively while managing multiple cases.

• Competency in understanding age-related or specialty issues relevant to each population served is vital.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with a broader client base.

While a minimum of two years' experience as a clinician is required, candidates with additional experience in outpatient mental health settings or with a specific focus on community mental health are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods and crisis intervention strategies will be advantageous.
