• Conduct initial patient intakes focusing on diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, and provide recommendations for treatment plans to primary care providers.
• Deliver short-term therapeutic interventions to patients requiring mental health services, utilizing evidence-based therapies tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor patient progress by initiating follow-up communications, assessing treatment effectiveness, and adjusting care plans as necessary under established guidelines.
• Identify high-risk patients and work on preventive strategies to avert the deterioration of their mental health.
• Coordinate with primary care providers to manage the delivery of behavioral health services and facilitate referrals to specialty care when needed.
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in clinical records in compliance with both agency policies and legal standards.
• Support patient empowerment by providing education and self-management strategies to enhance their recovery journey.
• Collaborate effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team, contributing to discussions about program improvements and behavioral health services.
• Maintain adherence to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals and carry out additional responsibilities as directed.

Your services will primarily target children, families, and individuals within the Olney, Maryland community, addressing mental health challenges that impact their overall well-being. You will engage clients from diverse backgrounds, advocating for their needs and connecting them with additional community resources to ensure comprehensive care.

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is required.
• Must hold a current Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in Maryland.
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic methodologies, including behavioral therapy and family systems theory.
• Proficiency in managing various psychological and developmental disorders and understanding their impact on individuals and families.
• Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage clinical documentation and reports efficiently.

• A bilingual candidate, particularly with English-Spanish proficiency, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is a plus.
• A thorough understanding of community resources and how to navigate them effectively for patient support is beneficial.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
