Oak Leaf Behavioral Health is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team. This full-time role primarily focuses on providing comprehensive mental health services remotely, while still engaging in our outpatient office setting as needed. This remote position allows our Licensed Clinical Social Worker to work from home while benefiting from a supportive team structure. Daily work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The remote nature of the role ensures that our clinicians can maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing essential services to the community.

• Act as a primary clinician, offering therapeutic services and interventions to clients with severe emotional disorders, both in-office and within community settings.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues in a team-oriented environment focused on shared goals, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients.

• Navigate the organizational and financial structures of Oak Leaf and related external systems to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

• Uphold the ethical standards and conduct codes per professional guidelines and Oak Leaf’s policies.

• Engage in professional development and performance improvement processes to expand clinical competencies and ensure effective treatment strategies.

• Identify and report potential safety hazards within work environments and implement appropriate safety procedures for all clientele.

• Conduct evidence-based screenings and comprehensive assessments to formulate individualized treatment plans that suit developmental and cultural considerations.

• Implement integrated care strategies, ensuring seamless communication among clients, their families, and multidisciplinary service providers.

• Provide various services, including crisis intervention, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy focused on compassionate engagement and empowerment.

• Manage a caseload of clients, adhering closely to treatment protocols and monitoring each client’s progress with timely, precise documentation.

• Oversee the ongoing treatment process, including admissions, continued stays, and discharges, ensuring exceptional care throughout the journey.

• Complete all required reports and data submissions punctually to promote smooth operational workflows.

• Partake in on-call rotations to assist clients and provide crisis intervention support outside regular business hours as necessary.

• Contribute actively to committees focused on quality improvement and the enhancement of agency service delivery.

Our licensed clinical social worker will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with profound mental health challenges descended from various cultural backgrounds. • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Connecticut is non-negotiable.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is essential, showcasing a solid understanding of mental health assessments and crisis management.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective client and family interactions.

• Demonstrated organizational and planning abilities to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

• Competency in addressing age-related and specialty issues in diverse populations is preferred.

• Preferably, candidates should be bilingual in English and Spanish to better serve our diverse community.

Preference will be granted to candidates with experience in community mental health settings, particularly those who have engaged in managing crisis situations within diverse populations. Hands-on familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices will be viewed favorably.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
