As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct clinical services to students experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, conducting both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Employing evidence-based assessment tools to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Collaborating with educational professionals and family members to facilitate integrated care that promotes holistic development and addresses both academic and emotional challenges.
• Conducting regular check-ins to monitor client progress, adjusting care plans as needed, and documenting outcomes promptly.
• Leading crisis intervention efforts during high-stress situations and ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients.
• Engaging with the wider community to promote awareness and prevention strategies regarding mental health issues affecting youth.

This role specifically targets children and adolescents in school settings who are at risk of mental health issues. You will work with diverse populations, nurturing an inclusive space where students feel safe to express their challenges and receive the support they need.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.
• Expert knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, necessary for effective interactions with clients, families, and professionals across various departments.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, adhering to established ethical guidelines and codes of conduct.

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, candidates with experience in school-based mental health programs or working with youth populations are strongly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is also highly desirable.

Bayfront Healthcare Center offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
