About Us: ICS Corporation is family-owned direct mail and marketing facility located in West Deptford founded in 1965. Now, more than 50 years later, ICS has flourished by elevating the marketing outreach of some of the nation’s largest companies in highly creative and cost-effective ways.
Job Summary: ICS is seeking an experienced Direct Mail Programmer to join our team. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in both data processing and mail/letter composition within a direct mail environment. Our preferred candidate will have experience with BCC Ignite Redpoint for data processing and Quadient Inspire for document composition. However, because that combination can be difficult to find, we are also interested in candidates with at least 5 years of experience using comparable data processing and mail composition software, such as BCC Mail Manager, XMPie, Quadient Inspire, or similar platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Process, cleanse, format, and prepare data for direct mail production
  • Program and execute direct mail campaigns using data processing and composition tools
  • Develop, edit, and maintain variable data letters and other direct mail documents
  • Ensure data accuracy, file integrity, and compliance with project requirements
  • Perform quality assurance checks on data, logic, formatting, and output files
  • Troubleshoot data and composition issues to meet production timelines
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate project requirements into production-ready deliverables
  • Help improve and maintain efficient programming workflows
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in direct mail programming
  • Experience with both data processing and mail/document composition
  • Experience with direct mail platforms such as:
    • BCC Ignite Redpoint
    • Quadient Inspire
    • BCC Mail Manager
    • XMPie
    • or other comparable software
  • Strong understanding of variable data programming and direct mail workflows
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with both BCC Ignite Redpoint and Quadient Inspire
  • Experience in a print, mail, or document production environment
  • Knowledge of best practices related to direct mail production and workflow efficiency
*ICS prefers this position to be full-time in the office in West Deptford, NJ. However, we are open to a hybrid in-office/remote arrangement for the right candidate, and we may also consider a fully remote setup depending on experience and qualifications.
