About the Role

Guiding Angels at Home Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate Personal Assistant (PA) to provide weekday morning care for an adult male client in his home. This is a great fit for someone looking for consistent, part-time morning hours doing meaningful, hands-on work that helps a client stay safe and independent at home.

The client is mobile with the use of a straight cane and communicates clearly. A caring, reliable presence and a person-centered approach matter most.

Schedule

  • Days: Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 3 hours per day (15 hours/week)
  • Start window: Between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
  • Consistent weekday morning schedule ideal for steady part-time hours

Duties & Scope of Care

  • Personal care: Bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene
  • Meal support: Meal preparation
  • Homemaker tasks: Light housekeeping, laundry, tidying
  • Transportation: Assisting the client to appointments and outings
  • Errands & shopping

About the Client's Needs

  • Uses a straight cane for mobility
  • Non-smoking home
  • No pets in the home
  • Comfortable, straightforward personal care support

Requirements

  • Reliable, punctual, and compassionate with a person-centered approach
  • Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle (transportation is part of the role)
