Location: Remote from any of the following states: AK, AR, AZ, CO, DC, FL, HI, IA, ID, IL, KS, LA, MD, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WY (in AK, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, OR, VA and WA, the pay rate can go to $135K)

Clearance: U.S. Citizen + DoD background check required

Seeking a Sr Salesforce Health Cloud Developer to lead and support the customization, integration, and optimization of Salesforce-based healthcare systems. This role blends technical development with UI/workflow design and system integration across critical health data platforms, within a government-cleared environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, and deploy Salesforce Health Cloud customizations using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flows

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and manage multiple data interfaces

  • Collaborate with Admins and stakeholders to improve user workflows and system efficiency

  • Support vendor software installations, upgrades, and patches; conduct system compatibility testing

  • Lead a small team to bring software development in-house

  • Monitor workflows, resolve technical issues, and escalate risks appropriately

  • Participate in agile sprints using Jira and DevOps CI/CD toolsets

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance (Interim & Final)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical field

  • 3+ years of general application development experience

  • 2+ years hands-on with Salesforce Health Cloud required

  • Salesforce Platform App Builder & Platform Developer I Certifications

  • Proficient in JavaScript, Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, REST/SOAP

  • Experience in agile environments and DevOps practices

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification

  • Aura framework, OmniScript, Einstein Analytics

  • Background in healthcare systems or government contracting
