Job role: Technical Project Manager
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Location: Remote
Overview:
Our client is seeking two experienced Technology Project Managers to support moderate to large-scale infrastructure-focused technology initiatives. These resources will operate within a structured PMO environment and will be responsible for driving projects end-to-end - from intake and planning through execution and transition to operations.
This is a hands-on PM role requiring strong governance, financial management, stakeholder coordination, and vendor oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead full project lifecycle (initiation → planning → design → testing → deployment → closure)
  • Manage infrastructure-related projects in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Drive scope, schedule, budget, and risk management activities
  • Own project financials, forecasting, and change control processes
  • Partner with technical leads to ensure requirements traceability and quality delivery
  • Facilitate risk, issue, and dependency discussions with stakeholders
  • Provide executive-level status reporting
  • Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners
  • Ensure adherence to PMO methodology and governance standards
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience formally leading infrastructure technology projects
  • Strong experience with SDLC (Waterfall and Iterative models)
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and cost forecasts
  • Proven ability to drive indirect teams and influence stakeholders
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • Experience with MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
