As a remote clinical pharmacist, your job is to telecommute and oversee the medication and prescriptions for each patient in your care. In this role, you may monitor patients for reactions, modify their medicines or doses, and improve general compliance with care plans. Despite the name, remote clinical pharmacists usually work from a physical pharmacy, not from home. In this context, the word 'remote' in the title refers to the fact that you may have little or no direct interaction with patients. Instead, remote pharmacy work usually involves preparing and mailing prescriptions, using email or video chat to communicate with patients, and otherwise providing remote care and services.
