Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to derive a detailed understanding of client mental health issues, substance use challenges, and treatment needs.
  • Developing comprehensive and individualized treatment plans in accordance with established best practices and the specific needs of each patient.
  • Employing various therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to provide effective treatment tailored to client preferences.
  • Maintaining meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic treatment approach for our patients.
  • Participating in weekly case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance treatment methods and outcomes.
  • Providing educational resources to patients and their families about mental health, treatment methodologies, and available community resources.
  • Staying informed on the latest research and developments in the mental health field and integrating this knowledge into your practice to benefit clients.
  • Managing a full caseload while ensuring that patient treatment goals are met in a timely and efficient manner, upholding the ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds, primarily focusing on those in recovery from substance use disorders and related mental health issues. This role is critical in facilitating the healing and support necessary for clients to rebuild their lives through adaptive coping strategies and emotional resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Michigan.
  • At least three years of relevant clinical experience, emphasizing the delivery of psychotherapy services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of solution-oriented psychotherapy interventions and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
