• Deliver individual, couples, and family psychotherapy using a variety of evidence-based interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to inform the development of comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation to comply with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) standards, ensuring quality care and accountability.
• Foster collaboration by working closely with internal team members and external providers, including psychiatrists and community support systems.
• Engage actively in clinical case consultations and team meetings to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
• Guide clients in accessing community resources, advocacy systems, and social support services, facilitating their journey toward recovery.
• Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards, emphasizing client autonomy and dignity in every interaction.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele including individuals grappling with addiction, mental health disorders, and those affected by significant life stressors. Each client will require a tailored approach to therapy, and you will help them navigate their unique challenges through evidence-based practices, emphasizing trauma-informed care.

• Active LCSW license in California, demonstrating a deep understanding of the state’s legal and ethical landscape in mental health practice.
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong theoretical and practical foundation.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience delivering mental health services, particularly to underserved and diverse populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, showcasing cultural competence and clinical judgment in client interactions.
• Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnoses, trauma-informed care methodologies, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Proven ability to work independently while fostering effective collaborative relationships with team members.

• Bilingual candidates (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Mandarin) are highly desirable to support our diverse client base.
• Additional certifications or specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, or somatic therapies, enhancing your therapeutic repertoire.
• Experience working within community mental health settings or school-based programs, especially in roles focused on underserved communities.
• Comfort and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as SimplePractice or TherapyNotes to streamline documentation and client management.
