Job description

Statistics: Advanced statistical techniques (regression, distributions, tests) and experience with applications.
Data Architecture: Experience working with and creating data architectures.
Databases: Experience querying databases (MySQL, Redshift, etc.)
Data Processing: Experience with distributed data computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Spark).
Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools (Periscope, D3, ggplot).They use Periscope
Web Services: Experience with web services (Redshift, S3, Spark, DigitalOcean).
Third-Party Data: Experience analyzing data from third-party providers (Client Analytics, Client Insights, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Design and develop machine learning models to analyze complex healthcare and clinical data.
Partner with clinicians and researchers to identify key challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Clean, transform, and integrate healthcare data from various sources to ensure accuracy and usability.
Develop and implement statistical analyses to uncover trends and patterns in healthcare data.
Communicate complex findings through clear and concise data visualizations.
Stay current on the latest advancements in healthcare data science and machine learning.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in data science or a related field. Less ok too, if they have a PHd and some exp.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms (clustering, decision trees, neural networks) and their application in healthcare.
Proven experience in analyzing and interpreting large-scale healthcare and clinical datasets.
Proficiency in statistical methods (regression analysis, hypothesis testing) and experience in applying them to healthcare data.
Excellent programming skills in Python, R, and SQL, Spark.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HIPAA, HL7) is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with clinicians and researchers. Must
