We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to lead the design, management, and maturity of the firm's enterprise data ecosystem. This role owns the architecture and reliability of the LNW data warehouse, reporting platforms, and integration pipelines that power analytics across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine deep SQL and data engineering expertise with a strong understanding of financial services, data flows, and reporting needs of a wealth management firm.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Engineering
  • Own the design and long-term architecture of the firm's enterprise data warehouse and data pipelines
  • Develop and maintain scalable SQL data models supporting firm metrics, critical data needs, client reporting, and operational analytics.
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, replication strategies, and processes to align data across portfolio accounting, CRM, trading, and operational systems.
  • Design data ingestion frameworks for large structured files, API integrations, and replication feeds.

Reporting & Analytics Platforms
  • Maintain and optimize reporting infrastructure including Power BI, SSRS, and related semantic models.
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver dashboards supporting firm metrics, revenue reporting, and operational insights.
  • Develop & maintain Bulk Document Management Dashboard for portal delivery of performance reporting and other document types currently operationalized.
  • Ensure reporting models are performant, well documented, and scalable.

Data Governance & Quality
  • Establish standards for data quality, lineage, documentation, and lifecycle management.
  • Implement monitoring and validation processes to ensure accuracy of critical financial and operational data.
  • Partner with compliance and leadership to ensure proper governance and obfuscation of sensitive client data.
  • Manage Data Backup and retention policies, Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).

Integration, Automation, & Agentic AI
  • Design integration frameworks using SQL, APIs, and automation platforms such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS and Workato.
  • Support data synchronization between systems including CRM, portfolio accounting, billing, and trading platforms.
  • Leverage Autonomous AI into integration frameworks using MCP or 3rd party harnesses to support decision-driven automation and delivery.
  • Enable LNW's responsible use of AI and advanced analytics by ensuring enterprise data is accurate, well-structured, and accessible to analytical tools.
  • Deliver high-quality datasets for AI consumption, implementing governance and lineage controls to ensure trustworthy outputs, and supporting integration with platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI AI features, and other approved analytical tools.
  • Automate data processing workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

More About You
Experience and Education
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or data warehouse development.
  • Expert-level SQL skills with deep experience designing relational data models.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce SOQL, SQL Stored Procedures, Views, Keys, Indexes and Constraints.
  • Strong experience with data warehouse architecture and ETL/ELT pipeline design.
  • Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
  • Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms using APIs and automation tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business reporting needs into scalable data models.

Preferred Skills & Attributes
  • Experience in wealth management, investment management, or financial services.
  • Experience with portfolio accounting systems, CRM platforms, and trading systems.
  • Experience managing enterprise data warehouses on Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with SSIS, Python data pipelines, and/or similar integration tools.

Compensation and Benefits
We provide a competitive salary commensurate with your experience and skills and offer an annual bonus based on company and individual performance. The hiring salary range for this position in Seattle is $115,000 to $150,000, in San Francisco is $130,000 to $170,000, and Remote from $100,000 to $135,000, depending on experience.
The salary range applies to the current posting and may change in the future. The range may vary based on key factors such as education, job-related knowledge, experience, skill set, and geographic location.
