Thriving Center of Counseling is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This position offers the unique opportunity to provide clinical services to a diverse population including children, adolescents, and adults, all from the comfort of your own home or our outpatient office in Baltimore, Maryland. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment planning to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members to discuss progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain a structured schedule of appointments and home visits, ensuring thorough monitoring of clientsโ€™ advancements.
  • Facilitate home visits to conduct observations, review charts, and gather necessary data to support patient care.
  • Ensure all clinical program plans are executed effectively and updated per patient needs.
  • Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to ensure comprehensive support for all clients.
  • Document monthly and quarterly progress notes as required for continuity of care.
  • Provide ongoing training to team members on implementation protocols and documentation procedures.
  • Conduct follow-up visits and assessments to ensure clients receive the ongoing support necessary for their mental health journey.
  • Maintain accurate and secure records to facilitate easy access to relevant information by authorized parties.
  • Serve as a liaison within the mental health community to promote collaborative strategies aligned with the organizationโ€™s goals.
  • Contribute to developing training materials and procedures to enhance service delivery across programs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base, including adults and youth experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. You may work with individuals facing trauma, substance misuse complications, relationship issues, and other behavioral health concerns. Your ability to establish rapport and trust will be essential in fostering a therapeutic alliance to enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, ideally in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with clients from varying backgrounds and experiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant digital health technologies.
