This full-time position plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mental health services to our diverse clientele, primarily serving individuals in medically under-served areas of Macon, Georgia. Work EnvironmentThis role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while being an integral part of our collaborative team. You will engage in telehealth sessions and have the tools needed to connect with clients effectively from your home office. Our usual work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours required to accommodate client needs. Our virtual work environment emphasizes teamwork, communication, and mutual support among colleagues to ensure we meet our clients’ diverse challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning for clients dealing with major mental illnesses and emotional disorders.
- Act as a collaborative team member, effectively participating in meetings and case discussions to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain a respectful and empathetic approach while working with clients from varying backgrounds, traditions, and belief systems.
- Navigate both organizational and community resources efficiently, ensuring clients receive holistic care.
- Uphold the highest standards set by professional ethical guidelines and Community of Hope Counseling Services’ code of conduct.
- Engage in ongoing skill development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, focusing on client choice and empowerment.
You will work with clients facing significant life challenges, often characterized by mental health crises, chronic stress, and emotional turmoil. Your role will involve delivering interventions tailored to their unique situations, using a holistic approach that incorporates both clinical expertise and an understanding of their cultural contexts. Your work directly contributes to the overall improvement of individual well-being and community health outcomes, aligning with our organizational objectives of equitable healthcare delivery.
Qualifications- A licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Georgia.
- Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies relevant to mental health issues.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple clients and case documentation efficiently.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a social worker is highly preferred, particularly in a mental health setting.
- Experience with community outreach and support programs, preferably in public health or community mental health.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
