Zions Bancorporation has an opportunity for a Merchant Solutions Consultant to join the Treasury Management Merchant Services team. The Merchant Services Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for enabling sales teams in business development efforts, supporting the onboarding of new Bank-managed client accounts, and serving as the liaison to our vendor partners ensuring all banker and client inquiries are appropriately routed and serviced. This center's objective is to support the Bank's merchant portfolio's growth and minimize client attrition. To answer this call, the Merchant team is relationship-driven, focused on cultivating trust, adding value, and anticipating needs.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who possesses natural tenacity combined with a passion to enable others to be successful. As a Merchant Solutions Consultant, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external partners in the service of providing subject matter expertise and support to sales teams and merchant customers.
The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to support merchant bid activities, manage relationships, revenue enablement and protection activities, and to collaborate on projects designed to support the growth of the merchant portfolio. The candidate must be passionate about learning as well as serving customers to support their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide daily management and sales support for merchant portfolios, including bids/analyses, new applications, risk reporting, equipment requests, customer service, revenue enablement, project management, and ongoing revenue protection.
โ€ข Execute high-value activities and meet service level agreements to support strategy implementation.
โ€ข Drive key initiatives and commitments, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
โ€ข Identify and implement creative solutions for business process improvement and relationship management to optimize workflows and team effectiveness.
โ€ข Collaborate with product, sales teams, and vendor partners to achieve portfolio goals.
โ€ข Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and development, especially regarding merchant product offerings, systems, and functionality.
