In this remote working arrangement, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while also fulfilling the responsibilities required to support our clients in a school context. While the majority of your work will be conducted from home, occasional travel to schools for meetings, workshops, or community events may be necessary. We maintain a collaborative digital workspace where our team comes together for training sessions, team meetings, and community outreach activities, ensuring that you are well supported and connected to your colleagues.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of students and families, ensuring a tailored approach to care.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address diverse issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans that align with the goals and needs of clients, tracking progress and adapting as necessary.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to essential community resources, including educational support, mental health services, and social assistance.
• Engage in program development and evaluation, contributing to grant reporting and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with community organizations, school staff, and government agencies to enhance the scope and effectiveness of services provided.
• Participate actively in team meetings, ongoing training, and community outreach endeavors, sharing insights to improve service delivery.

This role primarily focuses on supporting students and their families within the school environment. You will provide counseling and resources to help students navigate personal challenges, family dynamics, and academic pressures. By addressing their unique needs, you contribute to fostering a supportive school climate where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding and experience in trauma-informed care and social justice issues.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills critical for effective client engagement.

• A minimum of one year of experience working in a nonprofit organization, school, or similar setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with community resources available for children and families.
• Experience in collaborative settings, demonstrating the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
