How does a remote climate analytics professional typically collaborate with cross-functional teams?

Remote Climate Analytics professionals often work closely with data scientists, environmental researchers, and policy experts to interpret climate data and generate actionable insights. Collaboration is typically facilitated through virtual meetings, shared data platforms, and project management tools, ensuring seamless communication across different time zones. Regular updates and presentations are common, allowing the team to align on research goals and adapt to emerging climate trends or data challenges. Job description

HowGood is a mission-driven, product-led organization scaling our B2B SaaS platform Latis. We work with the largest enterprises across the food system to measure & reduce their carbon footprint, generating millions of PCFs each month. We've been working for 20 years to transform the food system by enabling Brands, Suppliers & Retailers to see the impact of their products with radical transparency, then illuminate actionable paths towards a more regenerative food system.
The Chief Product Officer is seeking an experienced Growth PM to lead a small dedicated growth pod, including a full-stack engineer and a growth marketer. This pod is focused on a single mandate: maximize the volume and velocity of users moving through the funnel. You'll operate alongside our core product team, who focus on the depth and durability of the platform our customers rely on. Where they build to last, you'll build to learn: running rapid experiments, shipping quickly, and letting the data tell you what's working or not.

This is a generalist role for someone who is equally comfortable thinking about acquisition, conversion, engagement and retention, and who knows that the boundaries between those stages are messier in practice than they look on a slide. It is also a role with an unusually tight feedback loop: a small team, clear metrics, and the permission to move fast.

A small team moving at this pace requires real fluency with AI tools. We expect you to be actively using, adopting and experimenting with AI in your day-to-day work: drafting, analyzing, prototyping, accelerating research and building lightweight internal tools. Equally, we expect you to understand where AI doesn't belong in B2B enterprise saas tools. The bar is comfort with the tools and judgment about their limits, in roughly equal measure.

Responsibilities
  • Own product's management of funnel volume and velocity end-to-end: define the metrics that matter at each stage, instrument them, and move the numbers

  • Run a relentless experimentation cadence with your fellow engineer and growth marketer:  hypotheses, tests, qualitative research, shipped iterations, repeat

  • Make sharp prioritization calls about which experiments are worth running, which are worth keeping, and which to kill

  • Partner across the organization to turn usage signals into product improvements and intelligent interventions

  • Coordinate with the core product team to ensure growth work and platform work reinforce rather than collide with one another

  • Identify opportunities from a wide range of inputs: usage data, customer conversations, internal stakeholder perspectives, and the broader sustainability landscape

  • Foster a pod culture of experimentation, speed and intellectual honesty about what's working

Requirements
  • 5-8 years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS, with meaningful time spent on growth, lifecycle, or full-funnel product work

  • Demonstrated ownership of product metrics that matter. You can walk us through a funnel you moved and exactly how you did it

  • A track record of shipping experiments quickly and reading results honestly

  • Strong analytical capabilities: comfortable in SQL, comfortable with experimentation frameworks, and comfortable pushing back on a flawed analysis

  • Experience with technical or data-heavy products

  • Demonstrated experience in cross-team collaboration: working effectively with engineering teams as well as salespeople, CS, operational teams and senior leadership

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, empathy, and good listening skills

  • Background in sustainability, supply chain, food systems, or climate tech is a plus but not required

Why work at HowGood?
  • Competitive compensation packages, with health benefits, 401k and generous leave policies

  • Remote first with offices available in Upstate New York (Stone Ridge) and Brooklyn

  • Flexible, relaxed but fast moving environment

$120,000 - $150,000 a year

Salary commensurate with experience

HowGood has the world's largest sustainability database and has recently completed the build for a new data model that allows for unprecedented flexibility in how we measure, surface and act on impact. Whether we are supporting NGOs, business leaders, product developers or individual shoppers, we help people understand the impact of their choices.

Applicants for this role should be excited by a specific kind of problem: how to bring more people into that understanding, and how to do it faster than anyone expects.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
