Job Summary
CRH Americas, Inc., is seeking a Workers' Compensation (WC) Claims' Advisor - East who will partner with local business units and serve as an expert for WC claims' management to minimize WC liabilities. The position will collaborate with third-party claims' administrator (TPA) and coordinate with local business units to improve WC claims' outcomes and reduce WC claims' cost. This role, reporting to the Director - Risk Management Programs, will provide direct WC claims' management and WC settlement evaluation with TPA and local business units
Job Location
This a remote role - we are looking for someone that is based in a state in the Eastern Time Zone (EST).
Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with local business units, TPA, and medical partners for effective WC treatment options
  • Communicate WC claims' exposures and WC claims' reserve needs
  • Participate in and coach local business units during WC claims' reviews with TPA
  • Utilize RMIS system to monitor WC claims and produce WC claims' metrics
  • Provide WC claims' management education and WC regulatory updates to local business units
  • Complete WCB assessments and other WC regulatory reporting requirements
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, Finance or Nursing background
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience managing WC claims
  • WC technical knowledge and WC case law in states from Maine to Florida
  • Demonstrated skills collaborating with TPA, medical and legal partners
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and RMIS systems
  • Professional designation preferred
  • Exposure to the building materials, construction or manufacturing sectors preferred

  • Base Salary - $105,000-$112,000 per year
